I've spent over 15 years as a Clinical Sexologist and Relationship Coach and have read many books on dealing with abuse and childhood trauma. Some books were heart wrenching, others clinical and informative, and some, like Linda Wasil's inspiring.

The author does not weigh you down with stories of her abuse nor old cliques. Instead, she shares with you a few simple techniques to help you become more conscious of the choices you make and points out the sometimes unconscious connections individuals make which keep them trapped in a repetitive cycle of abuse.

Linda provides various examples and inspiration to help you move "Beyond the stigma of abuse" and into conscious awareness of your life to learn, "what else is possible" and help you begin building a better future for yourself.
